About Ethical Rights

Ethical Rights Pty Ltd was established in 2009 to provide information and to challenge people, with the objective of making people think more critically about important ethical, human rights, scientific and related issues. In this way we can all act to make the world a better place for all.

Ethical Rights' director is David Swanton, an ethicist and PhD scientist. David is also a Chapter Coordinator for Exit International in Australia, the euthanasia advocacy group established by Dr Philip Nitschke, and a member of Dying with Dignity NSW.

The objectives of Ethical Rights are to:

  • encourage people to think more, and act better, to make the world a better place
  • work towards ensuring individual rights are respected for all people
Ethical Rights will achieve this by:
  • producing articles, submissions, books that encourage thinking, debate and action on ethical, human rights, science and related issues.
